Simon Henderson of West Fenton Farm near Wooler in Northumberland, believes that it is possible to grow crops and manage the environment successfully. It was this commitment to the environment that has earned West Fenton the very first Heritage Lottery Grant for a private business. Along with a DEFRA grant it has been used to convert redundant farm buildings into an interpretive, interactive exhibition and conference centre. Rob Oldfield Design Associates produced the concepts, designs, sculptures, the editorial content and most of the photographic content for the exhibition and reception area. They also project managed the production and installation of all the interactives and displays.
